How to Be Proud of Yourself First

I wanted those around me to be proud of me.  Have you felt that way?  

I had a lot of ideas of what I thought I could/should do that would make them proud.  It usually involved making them proud by having a job and making good money, even if I was miserable at said job.  

It took having a coach and learning to be proud of myself first, that got me through wanting to make everyone around me proud.  

I learned to follow my passions, being an artist and a coach, made me proud of myself.  As a result, those around me are proud too. 

It's funny, the more happy I became with myself and proud of my own accomplishments, those I loved were just as proud as I was.
